In This Issue: Good Happening on the Horizon
March 17th will mark the beginning of our county tournament.  Who will walk away as this year's champions?

The world famous Barbie Bowling Doll will be given away to a lucky winner on March 25th.  Be sure to get your tickets.

Bridge BranchTimber bowls on the Tuesday Night Ladies League.   Kathy, Lois and Katherine are from Whitesburg, KY and Libby and Deanna live in Pound.  Their sixth member is Goldie Tyree, who is also from Whitesburg.

There's a fun event coming up on April 21st.  A scotch Doubles Tournament for women & men will be held.  It will be a handicap tournament.  Partners will be drawn at random, and can be one man and one woman or two women.  WCWBA and WCMBA will donate $100 each to the prize fund.  Sounds like a good way to spend your Saturday afternoon.

A quilt will be raffled off at the annual meeting on May 31st.   Proceeds will be donated to BVL(Bowlers to Veterans Link).  Tickets will be on sale soon.

Pauline Labat joined our association last year.  She has moved to Powell Valley from New Orleans.  Pauline bowls on the Wednesday Morning Coffee &  Donut League.
